Backup and Disaster Recovery – Remote Support LLC

Why Choose Our BDR Solutions?

Automated, Immutable Backups

Protect your data against ransomware with air-gapped, immutable backups that cannot be altered or deleted by attackers.

Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)

Instantly spin up your critical servers in our secure cloud if your primary hardware fails, ensuring near-zero downtime.

Guaranteed RTO & RPO

We work with you to define and meet your Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

Routine DR Testing

A backup is only as good as its last restore. We conduct regular, documented recovery tests to guarantee viability.

Our Comprehensive Backup & Disaster Recovery Services

Backup and disaster recovery (DR) are critical components of any organization's security strategy, providing resilience against data loss and ensuring business continuity in the event of unexpected disruptions. We provide several services to establish robust backup and disaster recovery solutions:

Backup Strategy: We develop a comprehensive backup strategy that includes regular backups of all critical data, applications, and system configurations. Determine the frequency of backups based on the importance of the data and the rate of change within the environment.
Offsite and Redundant Storage: We store backups in multiple locations, including offsite or in the cloud, to protect against physical disasters such as fires, floods, or theft. Redundant storage ensures that backups remain accessible even if one storage location becomes unavailable.
Automated Backup Processes: We implement automated backup processes to ensure consistency and reliability. Automated backups reduce the risk of human error and ensure that backups occur according to schedule.
Data Encryption: We encrypt backup data both in transit and at rest to protect it from unauthorized access. Encryption ensures that even if backup media is lost or stolen, the data remains secure.
Regular Testing and Validation: We regularly test backup systems and procedures to ensure they are functioning correctly and can be relied upon in the event of a disaster. Validate backups by performing periodic restores to verify data integrity and recoverability.
Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP): We develop a comprehensive disaster recovery plan that outlines the steps to be taken in the event of a disaster or disruption. The DRP should include procedures for restoring critical systems and data, identifying key personnel responsible for executing the plan, and establishing communication channels during a crisis.
Priority Recovery Objectives (RPO/RTO): We define recovery point objectives (RPOs) and recovery time objectives (RTOs) for critical systems and data. RPO defines the acceptable data loss in the event of a disaster, while RTO specifies the maximum tolerable downtime before systems must be restored.
High Availability Solutions: We implement high availability solutions such as redundant hardware, failover clustering, or load balancing to minimize downtime and ensure continuous access to critical systems and services.
Employee Training and Awareness: We train employees on the organization's backup and disaster recovery procedures and their roles and responsibilities during a crisis. Ensure that employees understand the importance of backing up data and the steps to take in the event of a disaster.
Regular Review and Update: We periodically review and update backup and disaster recovery plans to reflect changes in technology, infrastructure, and business requirements. Test the effectiveness of the plans through simulated disaster scenarios and adjust as necessary.
